how do i file out my pegs? posted on 2006-09-07 18:42:48

i have been running the same hoffman day smith pegs for years and i love them. unfortunately the rears are too crushed in to run anymore and the fronts are pretty bad too. i took em to the shop but they didnt have a dremel bit for metal and it is impossible to get the range needed to file. what can i possibly do?

I can see both arguments for wanting it to stay underground and for wanting it to be noticed. i also sometimes listen, when new people are around, for that "woah look what hes doing!" stuff. and not that im an attention whore or self centered or anything, but sometimes i wonder how adults can walk by and NOT have a double take or even glance in my direction. i mean come on, look what we're doing! im spinning on one wheel on a bicycle! i would stop and watch me :-D

i seriously just read this thread (or caught up on the last 2 pages rather) right now at 6:41 and im hearing my parents and sister talking in the other room about a family who is friends with our family, and the son is in college, i guess he just started and hes 18 years old, and hes dating a 14 year old. for one thing, thats so fucking coincidental that i had to post. also, dont date her in my opinion, hearing that really put it into perspective. theres plenty of girls out there man, youll be much happier with someone your own age. maybe when you keep saying she looks 16, you're trying to convince yourself that shes somehow older than a little 14 year old :wink: i live in a development of sorts and theres a community pool. mad 16 year olds and shit and they are all bangin. but im 20 so i didnt just say that.

he probably did coke with his friends though. i dont know anyone personally who hangs out with kids then goes home alone to get his coke fix.

reminds me of a few years ago, a kid who was a year ahead of me killed himself. he lived right on the corner of my road, his family still does. he was with his friends, and was on mushrooms and either x or acid... either way he had a fight with his girlfriend, went into the other room and cut his wrists then hung himself with a computer cable. his roommate got arrested i think because he hid the drugs when he found him before calling the police/ambulance. so he brought on the possibility to kill himself by taking the drugs, then killed himself. no ones fault but his own really. but boy did it hit this town, it was very sad. i still see his mom and brother all the time and think what it must be like to lose a son/brother. especially that way.
