Re: rubiks cubes!!!! posted on 2006-10-02 10:12:00

I Pwn those cubes in like 3 minutes.
Theres a technique to it.  Usually if you buy the rubiks cube itll come with a solution manual.  It tells you the steps to solve it, and a series of "patterns' you use that youll eventually memorize (if youre persitant)  I went from complete noob to a "good at it" in 2 days of learning it.

Now after you learn the 7 step process, theres the 30 step process that pros use to solve it in under a minute.

Re: Check this stem out posted on 2006-09-19 08:15:00

Im tired of all the people that say "that doesnt look like itll hold up," or "I dont trust that company"
The fact is, only a few people actually bend or break parts, and theres a whole lotta people on the sidelines adding to the hype.  Just because theres a picture of one bent Grim Reaper frame (wallride to tailwhip and the rider landed/stepped on that tube when bailing) doesnt mean that theyre weak, and even if it does, it doesnt mean youll break it.
And cmon, lets kick the ballistics here, BMXers change parts quicker than they change shoes.  Theres hardly a person here that has been riding the SAME FRAME for more than 2 years straight.

This got me thinking: If you have two freewheels (front and back), wouldn't that essentially be a FREECOASTER? Get rid of the heavy rear hub forever... They apparently make  freewheels up to 32T.

I had the same idea 4 years ago, and I made a reent post about it on BG.  Fact is: it wont work.

So this freecoaster designer, did he also used to ride flat?
