Here's an idea.
Or first, a thought.
How can BMXBoard and Bikeguide stay up, when they have way more traffic, and not even half as many ads?
Its because the site is easy to use and keeps people coming back.
I wonder how many people never returned because of session errors.
Or how many people saw that the site was such a clusterfuck of ads and empty forums that they thought it was stupid.
Keep it simple, BG and Bmxboard havent been changed in years and they have so much more traffic.
And sounds like you need a new host. If its hundreds of dollars a month Im pretty sure you are getting owned.
And even though I dont know for sure I feel like I want to call bullshit. $200 fits the description of hundreds of dollars. Theres no way all these annoying ads make the site almost 3 grand a year.

Maybe if you showed presence on the site it wouldn't feel so abandoned.
Sheepdog has over 20,000 posts and works on the site everyday. Along with working full time and enjoying other things outside of bmx. Get this shit together bro, before EVERYONE leaves.

Cops were great in Winnipeg.
Our friends were out looking for our bikes too, and they had their two bikes in the back seat of their car too. They got pulled over for doing a weird turn and got hassled for so logn about the two bikes in the back. So 5-0 were keeping their eyes peeled for them for sure. After assuring them that they were looking for our bikes too they finally let them go.
Police usually wont phone you back, you gotta take some responsibility and hassle them.

I dont know, PEdal is just full of dumb kids who dont know what theyre doing.
Combined with a total lack of moderators, an over complicated layout, an admin who doesnt listen to feedback from members. Well, its been gonig downhill since the brown layout.
Simplicity is key, theres a reason BikeGuide has so many more members and activity.
The ads are simple and dont interfere with the rest of the site.

Pedal used to be kind of popular, then it seems Nick tried to cash in on that.

So BNW from BMXBoard is riding his bike across the country. What a badass. Doing it all on his own money and everything, not even asking for donations.
His bike was recently stolen too, but he spent 80 bucks and got a new one going.
He is the manliest person I know.
There are people who would try this, have this happen, and instead of pulling through and letting themsleves keep going, would have set up a donation account for plane tickets home.

He's actually doing it too, not giving up.

I feel for you.
I went on a trip to Winnipeg. On that trip to Winnipeg i got invited on a trip to Edmonton.
When i got back to Winnipeg, 5 hours before my bus left for Toronto, the truck got broken into and our bikes were stolen.
Fucking sucks.
