I always thought messiahs were done sitting on the seat kinda, and knees under/against the bars(depending on your height) and kinda the kneeling praying position. Also heard both ways are the same name.. Now just to figure out which one it actually is!

but in all honesty.. i've tried that leaning forward way and it doesn't feel right at all, and hang five is the eassssssy way to get into it, plus as Trav said it's a foundation trick. You need it for a lot of shit anyways, so why not force yourself to learn it just because?

Think of the possibilities my son! Hang 5 -> Cliffhangers, Hang 10s, Hang 10 seat grabs, Step to halfpackers, hang nothings, Messiahs (wink wink!)

Enough of me, good luck learning them that way, and let us know when you do caues that would be wicked!
