oh and about being a psp modder, i have two fully modded psps, one stock 1.5 and one stock 2.6 both modded to have 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7 firmware :P  .. im fucking hooked on psps man, i want as many as i can possibly get


and to norcalflat, its a little more complicated than that.  But yes, different firmwares have different benefit.  IE 1.5 can load homebrew(homemade programs) from the xmb (main menu) and whereas the 2.0 and up can not. 2.0 and up have a web broswer, and 2.6 and up have FLASH enabled web browsers.  The big benefit to having firmware 1.5 is that you can get a program called devhook which allows you to emulate any firmware you want up to 2.7 as of right now.  If you get more advanced into modding, you will learn to emulate anything on a 2.7 from 1.5 to 2.7.  You can not just watch dvds on a psp, you'd have to upload the video to your computer, then download one of many available psp video converters to work on the psp.  I wouldn't count on doing that however due to the fact that most movies in the mp4 format for psp take up shit lots of space.  like a 25 minute porn was 200 something mb.  Although.. if you can convert it to a windows media format to save space, then you'd be able to run it ona  1.5 psp with one of many psp media players.  PSP has TONS of power, and its a shame that the DS is beating it on the market. No one is aware of the capabilities!

would you be looking to just sell it? if so how much would you want?  if you sold cheater the games, and wanted to sell it seperately for cash, how much would you be lookin at?

is it a stock 2.6?  can you pop open the disc loader and read the little number on the motherboard?  like ic6001 or ic1003?  can u check that?
