Don't mean to be pessimist, but I don't really see how this new frame comes to innovate or make any difference in the world of flatland. I do like the specs a lot but there are very similar frames out there with the same classic diamond style...

On the other hand, it seems a bit weird to me to start a flat company with classic-street looking frame like that. I personally think this is one of the reasons why inertia has not been that successful... nor fbm (despite the gusset), and remember what happened to Sick child prototype model.

Well guys, as i said before, don't mean to be an ass, just try to understand the logic behind your designs...

Actually, there are guys like me who see modern flat frames and don't like them.  Bent tubes, teeny sizes, low top tubes and a general weak appearance of many modern frames look horible to me.  I wouldn't want to ride if one of those was in my garage.  I prefer a more "street" looking frame.
I completely understnad that. What I'm trying to say is that there are already other "street-looking" frames out there and they are not doing that great-nor they have done that great in the last years-except for the div. There's also a limited market nitch for these frames.

please note that there is a great likelyhood that the person who hacked Pat's e-mail just hacked his pedalbmx username. those two replies above might well be the hacker.

Its new to me really. I've ridden other bikes with them, and i've heard there still the best (diffrent opinions). I bought a 12t cog from Pat, and an un-brake to adjust slack. Im also going to cut the brake arm down to serve as just a spacer. It is heavy compared to everything else on the market. Just look at the internals. Everything was steel back then LOL...

OK, but what do you do with the metal fledge sticking out...can you take it apart.

You know the best thing would be if you can fit that thing into a profile nankai shell...

Pardon my ignorance- how do you run one of those? do you have to modify it in any way?  how much does it weight? pros and cons?

just curious...

yup, that color is crazy! I usually don't like deltas in dark colors, but that blueish/emerald color is amazing. is that epox paint or powedercoat rizal?

btw- I really like the hiros on your bike, but I think some new 7.25 dagmars, would just make it look even sicker.

Cheers

another question:

the frame is very short... so, how does it feel with 165 crank arms? I asume your crank arms are that length..

Weight. . .  im not sure. Its not super light, but im sure its in around 5.4lbs. Considering mine doesnt have the new dropouts or 0.35 tubing and my bike weighs around 25lbs.

The BB will still be Euro and the slots will only be 10mm. For most people though thats an advantage. Just file down the chain tensioner shoulders. Then they'll fit.
well is cool, but I don't really get why it took years to come out with those improvements. for sometime now, sick child represents have been saying things like: we are working on something really special, we are going to come up with a new gama of products, and so on, blah blah blah

Need help with Photoshop posted on 2006-07-31 11:39:28

OK, so my friend got really drunk a at a wedding the other day, so my friends kindly put him a hat and the coat.

We are putting together an album, and I want to do something creative with this picture, like placing this guy in a cantin with some other drunk guys, or maybe with some Mexican revolutionaries (the wedding took palce in Mexico), or maybe holding a rifle next to a cactus and donkey-Mexican style. Unfortunately I don't know how to use photoshop.

If someone has some spare time, could you give me a hand?

Thanks
