What you hate when riding posted on 2006-01-29 14:24:21
I hate when the po po sits there and stair at me. Or when you have a good riding area and then a car comes when your not looking right into the middle of you area and parks. Or when landing a trick for the first time and then your just terrible after.

I find the as the years pass my bike seems to not be so large or bulky. It seems day after day it gets smaller and smaller. Easier to bial and stuff. Not sure if it's just because I'm older or better lol. What do you think?

I have my left foot on the peg too, I tried bending my knee that helped a little. I'll try focusing on my hand pressure more next time. On a good note I landed 5 steams today without touching, which is a step for me.

Now that I know the balance point my problem is my frame really likes to go to the right even though its wedged in my buttox good. My whole body just starts to lean then I fall. I find if i try to roll them to the left it reduces that. Any tips?

What to do? posted on 2006-01-25 15:28:49
You could take some super glue and put it on the hole in the tube. Or take electrical tape and just wrap it around that spot. Both are pretty shady ways to fix it, but if you pump it up before you ride youll be all set. Carry a flashlight to look under vending machines for change.

Who the fuck cares what pros do with their sponsers?
I think if I started printing out the People version of flatland in magazine form flatlanders would buy it before they bought anything written about the actual sport itself.[/quote]
In upmost respect, just because your not interested doesn't mean that nobody else is. People buy people magazine rather than seeing that persons work. To come into a thread and completely drown it with negativity.(As I am doing myself now)<hypocryte. Who the fuck cares that you don't give a fuck about peoples sponsors? You could view it as I wonder if this rider riding for that company will push this companys limits with ideas and so on. Or this company and this rider would make a great signature frame.
I don't post here very often, but it seems more than not somebody has to come in and completely bash the topic. Who am i to talk though i can't do a funky chicken to a steamroller right TJ. I really am sorry for posting this.

Trust me I'm going to move south. Living with my parents working full time saving my penies until I move. All the while I'm destroying that wet icy salty parking lot. It has been warm recently, but I ride at 8 or so at night, so by the time I get outside its cold anyways.
Winter Warriors posted on 2006-01-12 20:37:54
I let the winter beat me for about a month. Then, I got the itch to go riding and now I'm really starting to get into it. I've thought up a bunch of realistic things to learn. All in cold weather, which I think I'm starting to get used to. Only thing that sucks is that ground is always wet and some places on the lot are icy. I think I may be at another breaking point in my riding where it seems a lot comes together at once. If your afraid of the cold get a winter hat a longsleeve shirt, t-shirt, hoody, pants, and gloves. Garantee you will not be cold once you start riding. Just bring some tissues. Looking forward to going to any events I can make it out to in the NE area this summer.

I still live at home work atleast 49 hours a week. 6:30-4pm mon-fri if I don't work any extra overtime and always 6:30-10:30am on sat. Work being my only responsibility I have plenty of time to still ride. I have plenty of energy after a full day. After I shower and eat, I hit the lot at about 5pm. So, I could ride 6 hours if I did nothing else that day. Personly 3 hours is a good session, I still have 3 hours left to myself. If you worked 40 hours a week you have 1 more hour a day than me and a free sat.
The real killer is if I chose to work a 64 or so hours week. I won't bike everyday after work depending on how I'm feeling a 12 hour day is tiring. If you work this many hours yea its hard to find time to ride, but you could always try an hour a day after work.
I would suggest work 40 hours and every1 who works 40 hours now try working 55-60 hours. That will help you appreciate the free time you have working regular hours and possilby let you realize it could be a whole lot worse. For those who work 60+ hours a week props for doing what you have to, but if possible you should do 2 normal weeks then an easy week for riding or something lol.
