Yea seriously, he never had a chance.

My personal favorite part is the warning not to visit Pedal due to the 'foul language'. I can now die happy, haha

There's an edit button to fix formatting, but it looks fine to me.

If that was your bug report, then you're basically saying there are no bugs, you just don't like it.

I know there is OSS Forums software, that's what Pedal was running on before dumbass.

If you like free forums so much, go install one again and hang out there. I'm sure it will be much more enjoyable.

There is no longer any other site, this is it, and it's here to stay. What exactly would be the point of restoring it again? This site is obviously working (you logged in and posted this thread), so how would the old site be any different?

If there's anything specifically wrong with the site, PLEASE let me know. If there's something that's missing from the site, PLEASE let me know. If there's something you don't like on the site, PLEASE let me know. But I want SPECIFICS, not "I like the old site better".

Everyone ALWAYS complains when the site is migrated. Traffic ALWAYS drops. It's happened before, it will probably happen again. I've sent out an e-mail to all members (or tried to), and will be sending another.

So to recap, no I can't restore the old site, and please let me know specifically what is wrong with this one.

Oh, and one more thing. If it's so un-usable, then how did you manage two posts?

If you'd rather talk shit than contribute and submit a bug report... then don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out!

Awww, did you guys just get that warm fuzzy feeling in your loins?

... No? ...

... Neither did I.

Old PM's will be imported soon, I apologize for their being missing. I need to merge two databases into one with a custom script, due to a pointless and annoying way the old site decided to store them.

The quotation on thread reply issue will be fixed.

New replies since last visit does not work, but will soon. It is tracking your visits, I just need to code in the displaying. Also, just use the "Recent Forum Posts" box on the home page, that's pretty handy.

Old PM's will be imported, they just weren't stored in a logical manner in the previous system, so I'll need to write a script to merge two databases into one. I'll get that up as soon as possible.

As far as the New Replies Since Last Visit, this will be added back soon. It is recording your visits currently, I just haven't coded displaying them.

So, because it quoted someone when it shouldn't have, Pedal is 'dead' huh? Wow, that's pretty interesting. I know it's not like you can delete the quote or anything.

I think most of the problems that have been mentioned have been fixed. If the font is too small, just hit Ctrl - + .

Still lots to do, but is there anything else specific not working that I should know about? I know e-mail functions don't work yet, that's next.
well, I can see that my post made it this time... It logged me out and I had to log back in to make this one... It appears that none of my formatting went through.. I tried to make a list of problems... all of that stuff was supposed to be on separate lines... Im trying again to see if "enter" works... if this is all one long paragraph then it doesn't like separating stuff onto different lines. The font is sooo small I need binoculars to read any of it..
Thank you very much! I'm actually aware of most of these issues already and working on them, but it doesn't hurt to hear more feedback. I get high-speed in less than a week now, so development and testing will be much faster. Thanks for your help and patience!

100% flash huh? Expect your traffic to stay where it probably is right now.

Who said it wasn't broke? You weren't the one who had to try and maintain the old site. :-P
