Re: Heading to Anaheim. California posted on 2008-11-20 16:26:02

Have a nice trip, take some pictures and let us know how it goes! I don't know anyone in Anaheim off hand, sorry, I'll ask around.

I'm going to try it by hand myself for the first time tonight. I ordered a Dakine tune kit, they're pretty nice my former roommate was a ski instructor and that's what he used.

I'll let you know how it goes. I might even post some pictures, and tips if I learn any.

Re: new bike... good deal posted on 2008-11-19 16:01:56

Welcome!

That looks like a pretty decent deal, depending what you want to do. It'd be a nice street / park setup. Just be prepared to replace some of the cheaper parts rather quickly.

Re: So many bugs lately... posted on 2008-11-12 03:42:34

Sorry about that, it's fixed now. I know there's bugs, which is why there's a Bugs link at the bottom of every page. Just send an e-mail to bugs [at] pedalbmx.com and I'll get it fixed and get back to you ASAP.

As far as traffic, I'm going to start promoting the site again very soon, which will definitely stimulate some new activity.

Can you try this again? It worked for me before, so I'm not sure if it will work now, but I made a change that should have fixed it. Thanks

Yup, I've known about this but it never rose to the top of the priorities.
I'll fix it up soon, thanks for the feedback.
Re: Another suggestion posted on 2008-11-02 12:13:13

Working on it, I take forever with design, sorry. Haha :)

Re: Another suggestion posted on 2008-11-02 01:21:00

I removed the stripes until I can get the new design up. Hope it helps :)

Re: Another suggestion posted on 2008-11-01 04:25:23

Yea, I'm actually working on it now, experimenting with a few different designs. The layout (navigation, etc.) changes I'm making now are just laying the ground work for a more comprehensive overhaul. I've tried the multiple themes thing, and it's just too much to maintain for very little return. I'm just going to go for one, really clean and tight layout. So soon, promise. :)

Glad to see you back around again :)

Re: Yeah I think I messed up posted on 2008-10-29 17:49:24

Yea selling a bike is never a good move in my opinion, you'll never get what it's worth and usually have to spend a lot to get a decent bike running again. It's easier to just put it in the closet until you want to ride it again.

Anyway, good to hear you got a new ride, that's all that matters!

Welcome, where are you from? Any good riding near you?

Re: is that crickets i hear? posted on 2008-10-29 16:02:16

I'm sorry, were you expecting to sit back and be entertained?

The purpose of a forum is that you have to interact for it to be interesting.

This ain't no TV show ;)

Re: 6 more weeks posted on 2008-10-23 17:31:21

Actually, I prefer riding in the cold too, you warm up and get to a nice temperature, as opposed to being way overheated.

I'm not lucky enough to have a good local indoor park though, so the snow can really be a pain when you want to ride. But I just usually snowboard instead :)

Sounds good, good to see yah back :)

Re: Why is Little Devil closing? posted on 2008-10-21 14:44:36

Yea it seems a bit strange, you'd think they'd at least sell the brand, or otherwise keep it alive. Little Devil is part of what made BMX so fun growing up in a religious conservative community. Wearing shirts with pictures of Lucifer on them to my uptight school was quite entertaining.

Being injured is never fun. But that's good that you're healing up.

6 weeks, just in time for winter eh?
