What's With Girl Pants????? posted on 2006-03-14 14:36:36

dude,

this isn't new , guys have been wearing girls pants for a while, its a rider thing I guess. I dont really mind it. I always dressed different then most people and people would question my fashion but whatever. I never owned girl pants but I always had a sense of style. I dont know if these kids wearing girls pants have style I think they are just following a trend, but whatever.

back with the folks. posted on 2006-03-14 09:46:08

Ugh I am stuck at home because all the Ontario colleges are on strike I am so not used to this. My mom is a volcano and has already had outburts of crying\yelling bitching. Holy god damn. I go from living with 4 other guys in college who just smoke weed, chill and party to living with a psychotic parent.

So far she has freaked out over me moving some storage boxes out of my room which resulted in a one hour yelling session at 3am, 2nd mental breakdown was when I asked to move the TV to a tv stand, which resulted in her telling me to move out (even tho I am broke because of school)

Shes also enforcing the "no girls over policy" because it is disrespect to the household and having girls JUST COME OVER TO HANGOUT would be completely disrespectful, especially in her house (I'm 20 years old so this rule is kiling me).

anyone else frustrated on march break because of this?

ZEROTWENTY new 26MM stem posted on 2006-03-14 06:28:49

What's wrong with it...?

It just gives the appearance of a higher stack height because of the machining on the side. I bet it's no more than any other flatland stem on the market.
I'm with teej on this one.
there isnt alot of stack height, it doesnt even really look that way. as you can see the hole for the handlebars isn't raised any more than most other stems out there.

Anyone have any problems with light rims??? posted on 2006-03-12 08:16:03
I guess it shouldn't be bad if you aren't too hard on you're back rim.

Is the sun rhynolite the one they have in camo? If you don't run brakes get that, its badass
yeah thats the one,

I'm thinking of just going for black though.

Its for flatland, but sometimes the rim slams on hang five tricks and so on

I hate the fact that they are only in zero, but its alright because fly has other bars that have sweep.

Zero Sweep , painful? posted on 2006-03-07 05:26:44
personally, I like a bit of sweep. I'm rockin the ol' skool, apparently UGLY AS HELL haro kneesavers, but I love the upsweep and backsweep. but that's probably because most of my trix are with the bars regular... I can feel a tad of wrist strain pushing into karls w/ the bars bw tho... :(
yeah I have a pair of kneesavers sittin here in my basement, they are ugly.

Well I think I have decided I'm probably going to get some Street bars, and use them for flatland, because I dont like flatland bars

Flatland Bars:
1) Are ugly
2) Are weaker (due to all the extra tubes and low crossbars
3) are painful
4) are usually too short for me

There was no pro qualifying, the pros simply had two runs because there were only 9 of them entered.
Damn, that's kind of shocking. Didn't Metro used to draw all the Europeans and Japanese riders? Did they not show up because the contest hasn't happened for a few years, or what? I mean, some great riders in the pro class, but it looks like not many of the big bangers showed up.
yeah I said that in another thread and got completely disrespected and bashed for it... because I complained the entire pro contest was only an hour.
i think that flatland is going to drift so far away from "bmx" ,in terms of street and park and dirt riding, so that no one wil refer to flatland as a type of bmx riding anymore
VERY TRUE

I already do not like telling people I ride bmx

Zero Sweep , painful? posted on 2006-03-06 09:32:48

yeah , I dont really want to switch to zero sweep, I have oddyssey milk bars and I love them,. but they are heavy I still want the 12 degrees or 6 degrees or whatever sweep them have when I buy new bars. I want the NEW fly bars but they are only available in zero sweep which I think is stupid.
