| Almost everytime I try to sell/buy from people here on Pedal, I get the same questions:
Puerto Rico? Where´s that located?, What´s your currency, pesos? Do I have to deal with customs if I sell/buy from you? | To add some details to Moncho's post:
-we use USA currency; -we use the US Postal Service -if we pay via Paypal it's gonna be in US funds -our credit cards are either issued by US banks, or banks regulated by US laws (all local banks are members of FDIC) -we use UPS and FedEx, but it's more expensive due to the air travel -we have sunny weather all year long... ooops! Que extrańo! Si amigo, el ciudadano promedio de Estados Unidos conoce poco o nada sobre la realidad de Puerto Rico y sus otros vecinos hemisfericos. Ejemplo: Aun mis profesores universitarios de estudios graduados en Pennsylvania me preguntaban si necesitaba visa para visitar su pais (en 1917 el Congreso de E.U. impuso la ciudadania "americana" a los puertorriqueños unilateralmente). Is shipping and handling the same/in the same price range, or do you count as hawaii and alaska shipping? It´s likely to be the same or close to it. There´s not a fixed rate. Et in Arcadia ego... | |

Is shipping and handling the same/in the same price range, or do you count as hawaii and alaska shipping? Many places have a separate Hawai'i, Alaska, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico shipping rate... but as Moncho said, it's likely to be the same... Ride now, ride later... En las clases de espańol aprendíamos no solo el idioma, sino tambien los factos sobre los paises hispanoablantes, incluso Puerto Rico.
