what are some of the best and worst albums in your opion of 2004
some of my favorites:
hella - the devil isnt' red
broken social scene - bee hives
death from above 1979 - you're a woman, i'm a machine
hayden - elk-lake serenade
mos def - the new danger
as i lay dying - frail words collapse
sparta - porcelain
matt pond PA- emblems
brazil - a hostage and the meaning of life
the black keys - rubber factory
head automatica - decadence
fall of troy - fall of troy(this album is incredible!)
handsome boy modeling school - white people
underoath - they're only chasing safety
yeah yeah yeah's - fever to tell
the streets - a grand don't come for free
the stills - logic will break your hear
beastie boys - to the 5 buroughs

some of my not so favorites/letdowns/dissappointments:
taking back sunday - where you want to be
modest mouse - good news for people who love bad news(I liked about half the album, but it just didn't do it for me like their old stuff does)
I'll add to my list if things come to me
( I hope I'm not coming across as some music snob)

i really like the newer tbs album i like john nolan better it slr then it tbs. i dont think its bad album at all
underoath - tocs was definatly one of the best albums this year

new my chemical romance was alright, a litle over rated in my opinion
the new TBS was a bit of a letdown I thought...I liked some of it, but comparatively to the previous album, it wasn't as good

oh shit, how could I forget on the best list:
kanye west - college dropout
k-os - joyful rebellion
if my list was at all numbered and ranked, these two would be up near the front

worst:
green day, c'mon now when was the last time they put out a decent album
hoobastank, soft rock ballads? fuck's sake
dizzee rascal, I just don't get the hype about this guy, his music just doesnt' do it for me

Letdowns

TBS
Modest Mouse (I also only liked about half the album, it just doesn't stack up to their old stuff)


I don't listen to a lot of bands that are still around so I don't know too much about the albums that came out this year.
