| it was 'the smears'... but every city on the planet has a band called 'the smears'... so we switched it to 'vancity smears'.

| the smears formed in 2000... i only joined at the end of january but i've been living with the singer/guitarist for about 8 months and was friends for about a year before that. so we're all good friends that have finally gelled as a band... we all had different bands before this one, though.
