I'm looking into buying the Federal Hamilton frame. Anyone here have it, or a link to a review? Or if you've ever ridden a frame thats relitavely short (20 inches) with a short back end (13.75 inches). Thanks.

I ride a Heaton. 20 inch top tube, 13 something back end.

I love it. but I was never a trend whore that did what everyone else did.

I ride w/ my bars forward and my seat high.

Looked there already, none of the new Federal frames are reviewed.

If you are riding real street or small ramps it is going to feel easy to whip around. The short back end makes for quicker bunnyhops and easier manuals. The shorter front end will make it pull easier and spin 360's tighter.

If you are riding full speed trails/skatepark you might notice it is a little squirrelly or loopy.

I don't have on but I have ridden every size bike on everything from flat to vert.

Check it, I ride a WTP Pony for street. 19 in top tube, real short back end. I love it, manuals sooo nice, it's light, it bunnyhops like mad, it's quick, and it's so easy to whip around. I don't run pegs, I'm 5'8", 160 or so, and I would consider myself fairly smooth. All I ride is street and I love it. Get the frame and you'll love it.
And to any haters out there, I'm not trying to copy Hamilton or anyone, I used to ride flatland on it, and I gave my best friend my old Haro Mirra, so the Pony was the only frame I had to ride.
Get the Hamilton, and never go back to stretched out frames.

Yeah I figured it would be nice for quick bunnyhops, but my fear was that you could jump quicker but not as high (like the difference in taller bars). I'm trying to decide between the Hamilton, for it's small size, or the Solid Killing Machine euro.
