you don't need to be going that fast.... its really a matter of how sharp your turning.... once you get into a sharp turn, unweight one foot while putting more on the other.... it helps me if I swing my arm over my head from one side of my body to my other..... also try to turn your body a lil bit before the rest of the bike turns.... that way all you have to do is snap your legs around....

practice.

What I have done but feels sketchy, is pull into a bw hiker like normal but lean far to the left so the left bar end almost drags, then suddenly shit your weight to the right and look over your right shoulder to turbine.. I don't like this feeling though because it feels sketchy so I just do a short mc circle then turbine to fw hiker..

ya i just like to shit my weight like alex does

haha, no, i start off like i would swingin the frame into a bw hiker catchin the peg or tire, whatever i want, then spin it by putting more weight to my left side and once i get it as tight as possible push down more with my right foot causing it to turbine, a lil arm movement helps, but i havent ever gotten the hiker part good yet, just a lil turbine then a lil forwardness then i fall

FORCE IT! thats how i get the bike to change directions. i don't even carve the trick in a circle. just decide which way you want to turbine, then quickly switch your weight accordingly from one side to the other as you swing the bike around. i also find looking/turning my head the way i want to go helps smooth out the overall motion of the switch. this way you can go from a bw hiker>a fw hiker in a straight line rather than rolling in a circle. speed doesn't seem to be as neccessary as the balance needed. i can't land my link with this in it yet, but it's in the works and the mechanics are down. all it needs is some solid dialing. FlatlandBumm, i hope that helps a bit. its just something a little different than the usual spinning/rolling in a circle that i see alot of people do when they turbine stuff.
