its always nice to know you can do it when u want to. if u dont want to always pedal grind, learn tireslides, disasters, deckmanuals, fakie airs, fufanus, abubacas, nosepicks, nose manuals on the deck, hurricanes, 360 to fakies, regular airs, wallrides, walltaps, walltap fakies etc. .... theres a zillion pegless tricks to learn without grinding your pedals down to nothing. and they'll help your bike control improve a TON while simultaniously keeping bmx fresh, challenging and interesting. word?

i stopped doing pedal grind because they were eating away at my primo crank arms. concrete will tear up your pedals pretty quick, so do it on coping or at least get a grind plate. they are a fun trick to do though. they look cool when you do pedal-toothpick stalls.

pegs are still better though.. cheap, long lasting, and those weight weenies without them should give me 5 good reasons to not use them. to me, spending 8.99USD on a new oddy j-peg is a hell of a lot better then buying a new pair of decent pedals for 27.99USD.
