I'm pretty sure they're unsealed. And don't listen to anyone that tells you it sucks. I had a Poverty G-Ride, I felt the same way most of the people here felt. "Poverty sucks" , but I was deperate for a frame and it was the only one I could afford at the time and it was ALOT better than I thought. It definatly changed my opinion/views on them. I say get whatever you can afford and be happy with it. Not everyone has $500 to spend on a bike....

Trust me, I hate Poverty, but 3 years ago I purchased a buck 99, and the it's a great value for $200. The bars are shitty, I bent those in a week and replaced them with a set of DK 2pc. bars and never had a problem. The brakes are god awful...don't even have a name on them and even if you adjust them good they aren't worth a damn, they're the first cause for me going brakeless 2 and a half years ago. The stem on mine never slipped once and is now on my freinds flat bike. The rims were ok, I wouldn't run one in the back but i have my old front one ready to be called in incase my hazard lite fails me. The hubs weren't sealed and didnt even have a name but always ran real smooth and the front one is in my closet and has been ready to be laced to something for the past year. The forks are garbage, overbuilt and not even strong. The seat isn't trendy but is comfortable and I ran mine until it was taped up with bent rails. The cranks alone are a $100 value. Those things lasted me for a year and would've gone longer but a bike shop fucked up a bolt by cross threading it and from then on the left arm was stuck on, so i traded those and a video to my freind for a good set of primo cranks. The frame lasted me a few months and I tweaked it, it was still rideable so i kept it as a spare and eventually gave it away. All and all i think it was worth $200, maybe not a good bike but the parts you can get out of it are worth that.

I hope you get ran over by a big ice cream truck full of AIDS
