I think at their peak Oasis was more popular in the UK than the Beatles. I was in London the week that Be Here Now was released, and you couldn't walk 10 feet without running into a giant 10' tall poster promoting the album. I'm suprised those two brothers have never killed eachother considering how much they seemed to dislike one another.

Wonder wall
Oasis were massive over here between 1994-1997 ish i was a massive fan - as every teanager was at the time - i've seen them at Knebworth, Maine Rd, Wembley arena finsbury park and Newcastle, they always put on a good show, but they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth now - i think their writing a new album.
Definitly Maybe was a great album Whats the story (morning Glory) was pretty good too - but they never seemed to live up to that standard after that - maybe i just got too old for them - i don't know???

By all accounts be here now was one of their worst albums - they couldn't touch the beetles

They were also really cocky.
they said if they were palying in the 1960s that they would have been number 1 and the beatles number 2.
wich is bull shit
