i started listening to rap when i got serious about flatland. beastie boys have always been good to me, but now i'm all about mos def.
the black star album with talib kwali is the shit. if you're a fan of b-boy style this will rock you motha-friggin hizzouse. if you never heard mos, check him out, the new danger has a lot of rock tracks, but in my opinion his skill lies in his lyrics and his flow. look for his other previous albums for the straight keef.

the blackstar album is one of my all time favorite albums
Kwelli and Mos Def's lyrics, verses, and flow on that record are amazing
it's a must have
