this is NOT a good topic to have on a message board cause saying korn is even close to emo is an asinine comment NO, your missing the main idea. all music is displayin some kind of emotion. it may not be CLASSIFIED as emo, but music is emotional. being sad and depressed and singng about your girl leaving is emotion yes, but so is being angry and scremaing about hating everything. hates an emotion EMOtion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | Has anyone ever heard of Crying With Boners? They're by far my favorite emo band. Sig Transit Gloria would be a close second there was this toilet in my high school that nobody ever flushed, everybody like added shits to it and spit their chaw and everything. it was great. | |

true. emo is thenically anything depressing. dont get me wrong but TECHnically some of avril lavigns (sp?) stuff is emo. christina agerueuausudsla is emo somtiems. but whati consider emo is a static lullaby, atreyu, korn , alexis , lamb of god ect... no just cuz music is emotional doesnt mean its technicaly emo .. emo is a genre in itself.. for like bands such as brand new, dashboard confesional, yellowcard, taking back sunday, etc.. of course atreyu/korn/alexis/lamb of god (i only listen to 2 of those 4 bands) are4 emotional.. becuase music is emotional in itself.. EMOTION isnt ust "depression".. emotion can be anything where your happy, bored, or sad
