Yeah, when this place was thriving and at its peak, I felt flatland was at its peak.... lots of contests and jams all over the usa and the rest of the world.... most parts were worth the money you paid for them... posers didn't control everything around the sport.... things were great! Hopefully more people will come back to this place and help rebuild that..... Nicks, been quite good at getting things back to working order here... I don't see what giving this place another chance can hurt... given the circumstances of where flatland went after the masses left for a forum farm more limited.... if you've broken shit parts in the past year, you know what the end result is from an environment in which threads get locked or deleted for shit talking some shitty parts.... You can't speak your mind there, so the masses became more intune with what I like to call "limited style" flatland.... where certain tricks are not to be done because of trends, and other tricks win you contests cause their trendy.... No ones an individual anymore.... everyones stuck in the "let the masses speak for me" mentality.... In all honesty, theres only a few people at global who even have a voice.... and if anyone disagrees with them, it starts up a lynch mob.... I don't really understand how the masses can even stand shit like that.... anyone else notice how the lynchings actually slowed down the posting from a number of members?
I'll support dans comp till bmx companies start selling direct to their customers... | |
