Can anyone tell me when they stopped making frames with standing platforms. I ask because I'm an old school rider and after several years away from the sport I have returned. The Last bike I owned was a '93 Haro Sport. I have however built up a new bike with all the latest parts and I like to relearn my old flatland moves but I really miss those platforms for tricks like decades and framestands.

They went the way of the Dinosaur..Bmx has brainwashed everyone into thinking all bikes should look the same and maybe twist a couple tubes here and there and not pay too much attention to functionality... I too miss the days of the Big Daddy and that platform to hoist yourself into decades... Sometimes you have too look backward to move forward..
