| I'm kinda new to bmx so im not sure what my problem is. I got a redline 1.1 about 2 months ago and its great but ive already gone through about 6-7 tubes. Ive been putting about 50-55 psi in it. Its also always been my back tire. Thanks a lot for any suggestions. | |

| That PSI should be fine. You may have a problem with your tyre - you might have worn a hole in it riding over something, causing one area of the inner tube to have much more pressure applied, forcing it to pop. Also, you may have something stuck in your tyre like a thorn - when you change the tube, feel around all the way on the inside of the tyre every time. Of course, it could just be bad luck :-/ | |

| also check your rims, idk what type of riding your into but i know i had a big chip in my rim and it kept puncturing my tire, i went thru 4 tires before realizing what was up | |

i do mostly street and a little dirt riding and the occasional skatepark when i have time, but with this new tube ive been riding pretty hard and it hasn't popped so im happy | |

| its really just a part of riding man, i have two slow sleaks all the time it seems. but what i do is take an empty soda can and take the round top of it (the rim of the can) and run it through the inside of my tire so to take out any thorns poking through the tire, it usually works. i dont usually like having thorn resistant tubes cos they weigh more, and weight is the name of the game its time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum. | |
