| Right now i have Alex DM Double Wall 48s, with Tektro U brakes. Im thinking about the Odyssey Evolver 2 as far as brakes. I need help choosing some good rims. My budget for the rims are $200-$300. The sprocket is 14t, chain wheel 39t. Should I buy a back rim with the same amount of teeth? does it matter? If i have to change the the amount of teeth on the spocket how do I determine what size chain wheel I need? | |

| If you want a suggestion.. which is only my opinion but the hombre fiesta brakes are great they work awsome and easy to maintain. For your rims the Odyssey hazard lights are good also the sun big city light . as far as gear ratio it is all personal perference/function, how you ride your bike my preference is 36/12.
I have it set up like that because i ride some street and park too. If your sprocket is too big in the front it will be like riding a mountain bike in a high gear on flat ground. If you only ride in a parking lot then with something smaller if you are interested in saving weight. to make it all short its really just what you like. If you have any questions or need more explanation just let me know. | |
