It's all simple stuff like cutting your bars down to the width you like, cutting the seatpost, getting rid of excess length on the axles, and every time you break a part try to buy a lightweight yet still strong one to replace it.

Why do you want your bike to be light? Trendy queer.

Calling somone a "trendy queer" for wanting to to keep their bike light is worse than removing stickers to loose weight. BTW, a can of spray paint contains roughly 11oz of paint by weight (not volume). If you use two cans to paint your frame, that's nearly a pound and a half. Also, if you have an attitude as big as flatcraps, you could easliy drop that to make ridding mroe enjoyable.

You should chop off your penis to save weight, and to prevent reproduction. It's not like you use it.

yea uhh some of my friends like to ignore the weight of their bike. "however much it weighs ill get used to it" and that was true for me until i could afford to build a lighter bike.
straight up, light weight means its easier to do shit.   if your  opposing that, thats probly why you still cant tailwhip or 360.... which is alright.. all you guys can go ride 2 foot ledges all day and feel really bad ass that you shred a heavy bike. i support you.

personally i dont think shaving anything on ur bike will make a difference other than comfort. i guess if you shave ur bars and ur axels and ur seat posts and mabey the ends of ur dropouts you could take off like a pound... but to me its not worth the effort.
my suggestion is to save up and buy lighter shit. dont toss ur damn bike.. the lighter it is, the easier it breaks bends and dents.....

things i do

- no breaks
- nice tires
- chopped seat poast
- short pegs

and fer real, SPRAY PAINT DOESNT HELP. hahaha

if you dont have balls, you should consider growing some...

but my balls are so big they get caught in my CHAIN!@@!!!!

its not that it makes it easier really its just a few pounds, its just that you dont get tired as easy, a light bike is something good to have so you dont have a hernia nose manualing.

Keeping your bike light is great for Street but don't worry about keeping it Mint. If you grind almost anything you are going to get a little wear on the frame and if you ever fall (which everyone does) I'm sure you will get a couple dings. So just saw a bunch of crap off just like everyone else says.
