| I have been using windows forever, but for like last 2-3 years I've been thinking about switching to Mac, but was extremely hesitant, reluctant to adjust to a completely new interface. Besides, Macs are generally more expensive.
I took a risk about 6 months ago by buying myself a brand new macbook pro (2.16 ghz core 2 duo, 3 gigs of ram) and....... LOVE IT!!!! Love everything about it - no crashes, no viruses (can go to any porn sites fearlessly haha), as simple to use as it gets. Took about a week to figure out the last shortcuts on a keyboard, since then my operating speed doubled. There are tons of minor goodies that I'm not gonna list - way too many. I've never seen such simplicity in installing programs on mac - just drag the software folder to the applications and you are done! Wanna delete it? Just erase it from that folder! No more windows "control panel - and/remove programs" shit, that, in most cases, doesn't delete the whole thing and you have to search your computer for additional junk.
Maybe Vista is better, I don't know, I only tried it in beta version and it crashed. :)
Windows will never come close to the osx. Common, how long has it been since Tiger osx came out, 2 years? And only in 2007 windows came out with Vista, something that kinda comes close (even that is uncertain) to apple by pretty much ripping of every single feature of osx. Oh well, Leopard osx is not so far away, is it? Vista can die out right now.
Advertising? U bet. I didn't get paid for that, I JUST LOVE MY MAC. I recommend apple to anyone who is looking for a laptop. Worth every single freaking penny. Redwood City, where ya at? | |

| Word man.I've been thinking about switching to mac somtime now.I tried it out at the apple store and not too long ago i found a imac G3 with os 9 on it so i tried it out and it seems like im using the imac more.Im just tired of BSOD,errors, popups, spyware etc etc that windows comes with also. But i've been checking out OS X86 which is suppost to let you run OSX on a PC but im not too sure since i heard it has hardware issues. bebiendo Palo viejo! | |
