You guys have inspired me to learn the hang 5. I always shy away from it, but after reading this post I realize that it is just a tough one to stick. Therefore, I, plywoodhoods4lyf hereby make it my personal goal to learn the hang five. Right now I would say the longest hang 5 I have ever ridden is about 10 feet and that was the best by far. Most end up being retarded and I can't even 'stick' them. But that was before 3/26/07. I am going to practice the hang five until I get it. I will keep you guys posted. May God help me lest I kill myself. Mike

you know whats more fun..................hang nothings. i have to learn them over due to my break. i used to have them well dialed........carving and what not.......i'm haveing a great time relearning them though. it's funny.......i get up there, then there is this short session of bobbing around trying to hang onto it. i got them for maybe a few feet............10 or so. not far though considering i was able to roll them as long as i'd like back a few years ago. i think they will come back quick.........i was just afraid to try them again for a while.

So I went out and attempted 12 hang fives. I rolled one about 6 feet. I give myself a D-. The other stuff was working great though. I think I was feeling guilty about not doing the hang fives so I pushed everything else much harder. If I tried hang nothings, I'd probably be unable to have kids after several attempts...wait a second! what a great idea! I'm going to practice hang nothings now.

i've been riding for awhile, and still haven't learned hang 5's. the simplicity combined with the pass/fail quality of it, and in my case, unproductive experience has been pretty daunting. i'm hanging onto a headfull of supertips for learning them, and i'm working on them right now. if i come across anything usefull, i'll be sure to add it to the list. thanks ya'll! good luck to everyone that's braving the task of learning hang 5's. life is beautiful

Now into my 6th month and I´m still hangin in there but I am definitely not hangin 5 in there.Although I´ve done a few 10 second rolls now , I am super inconsistent and normally lose the balance point after a second or two, which is well frustrating after so much time and effort.I refuse to quit but it does appear that I may have met my match here as I cannot ever imagine being able to just roll one at will forever.Try again tomorrow.............................
