| I'm running 1.75 freq g's for 10 months and they are almost done. How long do your tires last? Do you wait untill the tire wears out all the way or do you change them when there is little tread left? | |

| I've been running the same pair of Frequency G's for fifteen months now. They're just about shot, but still perfectly acceptable for me. Then again, I don't get in as much riding time as a lot of people. | |

| i onces blew out a tire during a jam and got hold of a grey KHE lamello tire, which i've never been a fan of. It lasted me about 7 sessions on a red and green surface tennis court. the surface was the smoothest of that type, and i wasn't scuffing the tire a lot as i was just learning turbine hang5's.... 7 sessions is horrible life for a tire, and it felt terrible to ride too Fre G 1.85, lasted about 8 months of on/off riding. the performance deteriroated from 'amazing' into 'horrible' when there was about 1mm of tread left, it was slippery and a bit inconsistence. however once it actually got to slick, it rode really well until the white threads were showing all the way round the tire. now running on 1.75 Fre G and is super responsive. this will last me a year at least, considering the time i have for riding... | |

2 to 3 months? Dang, what do you do with all the used tires? I would think they're still good after 3 months, no? :) - - I like my land flat - -

usually, they are completely useless by then and near exploding, with spots of the threads showing through here and there from where small air bubbles in the rubber have popped. Front tire usually lasts a little longer but I go through back tires quickly, and since I usually order them in pairs, if one of the ones I'm replacing (usually the front) isn't completely useless yet, i will throw it in the closet and save it for when needed. It's not like i have a bunch of tires piling up though.. Actually, i think I only have 3 now, 2 on the bike and 1 used one in the closet. Will prob order some more after christmas if I get any $$. This is what my back tire usually ends up looking like after 2 months

I ride front wheel mostly and finish off 1.75 Gs in 3-6 months (depending on tricks). But I like Comets, my 1.35 is 11 days old and is wearing on one side. needs to be flipped. It'll probably last another month. Most tires, if ridden 15-20 hours a week, will make it 2-4 months. But I don't hit the threads everytime, I gotta give some to Kenny Boucher. haha It's better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
