Man is it a bitch getting your hands on one of these things.... Walmart told us that they would have some at 8am this morning... so we got there at 7:30 only to find out they were sold out before they even went on sale... apparently they had people waiting outside at 4am.... and they gave the first 11 people in line the right to buy one.... So my girl friend and I left all pissed off and were about to resort to ebay, when I stumbled across this site nowinstock.net and just by random chance we found circuit city had just posted that they had some instock the very minute we opened the site... so we bought that shit up as quick as I could fill in the forms....
we checked back at nowinstock.net only to find that they were no longer in stock... so we must have gotten the last one or atleast close to it...
so if your lookin for it... keep an eye on nowinstock.net

Naaa, I think this system is going to bring back nintendo's rep.... if you've played the system, you'd agree with me.... the motion controller really does make playing that much more fun...  and its about gameplay, not graphics... history has proven this...
Theres some wallstreet analysts who think there wont be a ps4.... So far, their predictions are lining up... the number of games sold doesn't match the number of systems sold... for every 3 systems sold, they are only selling 1 game... So that prediction that guy made before its release, that people were only buying the system to sell it on ebay seems to be holding true... people aren't buying it to play it... they are buying it to sell it for profit... even some of the people buying the system on ebay are actually reselling it on ebay to try and make more money than they paid for it.... have you noticed the severe sale price drop on ebay? at one point ps3's were going for upwards of 10g's.... now the average sell price is about 1200....
The closer it gets to x-mas the lower the price is going to be... cause after christmas, people wont be jumping to buy one... and those that bought it to sell it wont be able to sell it for as much.

Well after having just looked at ebay... theres a substantial number of ps3's going for about  the same price you would get them for at the store... and no one is bidding on them...
Im looking at one for $500 w/ a game and extra controller right now that has no bids on it, that ends in like 1 minute...
I think the main problem is the price... their target customer base is teens to young adults... and most of the people in that age category don't have $500-700 to drop on a video game system.... I mean.... there can only be so many suckers born every minute to buy these things...

Im sure that will really all depend on the sales of the ps3...
im sure this is a good indication of that "While comments from a few Sony executives do not officially confirm a PlayStation 4, they certainly deny that there isn’t going to be one".... thats more of a maybe, maybe not....

but back to the nintendo.... I got that dragon ball z game for it. Im sure that bond game coming out will be pretty bad ass for it. Plus mortal kombat is supposed to come out next year. im sure playing with that controller should add a new level to playing it.
But I do see people throwing the controller a problem... not sure if any of you have seen this...

I agree that I think this system will bring Nintendo back into the game. I camped out of a Best Buy for 11 hours and got my Wii on launch day (November 19th), and so far I love it. The only problem I have with it so far is that it doesn't have many games built solely for it yet, most of them are ports. Once developers start making games solely with the Wii in mind, I think it will have some killer games. Sure, the graphics will never be as good as the Xbox 360 or the PS3, but the Wii itself is more powerful then the original Xbox, and if developers can continually make games that look as good or better then then late Xbox 1 games, I will be plenty happy.

Also, if you really refuse to believe that the Wii is capable of nice looking stuff, just check out some videos of Metroid Prime 3, and Super Mario Galaxy. If those aren't good enough for you, your too damned picky, lol.

Judging a system a failure based off of it's launch lineup really isn't a good idea. Launch lineups are never really amazing as developers don't know the ins and outs of the system yet.

I camped outside of wal-mart last wednesday from 2am to 8am to get mine. It was 22 degrees out. Zelda is an awesome game but the game I'm looking forward to most is the new Metroid.
