| Im soo sick of fucking commercials. Advertising now adays is getting stupid. They put too much effort in, they sound stupid when there tryin to be funny and NOT. and its just too often. I mean like the radio, anyone can listen because it has commercials(which are annoying as hell as well) ...so I think most channels should be free if they make us watch their crap. And if people wanna pay like they DO for cable or watnot, 30$ or idk...it should then have NO commercials. emagine watching something and finishing watching it cuz u didnt flip to something else cuz of commercails. I just get fucking sick of it and it ruins my football entertainment ,hehe. You don't need me to tell you the worlds not flat. | |

| Umm... TV is free, just go bye some bunny ears for your TV. Infact up until this year, you could catch all football on normal broadcast TV. But you pay for a reason, it cost bandwidth to host television channels, and its at a huge premium. Cable companies only get so much broadcast range to play all of these channels. And I wish we paid $30 a month, $100 for me, Digital cable, HD channels, and on-demand channels FTW! | |

| yep i'm with racefit on this one, also theres a reason i try to avoid listening to radio stations. so either deal with it, and realise it's actually a pretty cool deal, we got here, or don't use it. | |

My brother talked my mother into getting digital cable. 200+ channels of nothing to watch. After it went out, and it was going to take them two and a half weeks to send someone out (seriously), she switched to direct tv. Same shit, different company.![]()

Your just not watching the right channels good sir. All the discovery channels, all the history channels, all the HBO affiliated channels except for Cinemax, Starz, Encore, the aforementioned channels On-Demand, and the HDTV channels. There is alot to watch, but also it depends on where you live, you get a different service.

| No he's right... 200 channels of boring crap... I could really care less what an antelope looks like while its fucking another antelope... The discovery channels even run out of decent content to play.. I was watching a show on how to make lemonheads... like anyone really gives a shit about how candy is made... the people old enough to understand don't care, and the kids who eat it wont understand it anyway... pointless programming.... HBO and the movie channels are a waste cause its easier to just decide what movie you want to watch and rent it from the store.. instead of flipping through 50-60 movie channels only to realize its nothing you want to watch cause you seen it all or don't care to see it... and on demand is just as dumb... Very limited selection of whats there and it costs extra from our cable company... we had on demand channels for about a week and got rid of the service... Don't get me started on pay-per-view... The tv stations get millions of dollars for advertising per commercial... I don't want to pay for stuff they are getting paid to play... If the tv stations weren't 80% garbage, it wouldn't cost so much to operate their networks and they could have comercial free tv... I can only imagine what the tv/internet combonation monstrosity is going to look like.... not sure if anyones really heard of "the internet 2"..... I really don't like the idea at all... its all pay on demand content, where tv and the internet are integrated into 1.... You only pay for tv shows you want to watch... from what I've read its going to suck ass... could you imagine paying for everything you wanted to watch on top of an internet/cable bill??? Theres already a small start to this crap... tv over ip is slowly taking hold.... Wikipedias definition of the internet 2 has changed a million times since its been on there... so I really don't think anyone knows whats going on with it... all I know is... its going to suck... You can spark it up, but im'a put you out! | |

No, though, because its easier to see what movies are playing from the guide channel and just watch one (you dont have to flip thru 60 movies lol). if theres something specific you want to see, then go rent it, if its not on your tv. i dont have movie channels though. real name no gimmicks stop quoting pictures
