| Ok my best friends gf dumped him. She said she doesnt have anything in common... like she does with me. Shes hinting abvious that she wants me to ask her out. Yea in my other thread the girl dumped me today like 5 min before i saw my buds gf (she tutors me in math). So his ex is hinting on me to ask her out. But i dont want to do it unless my friend says ok. Now the second problem, if i ask him if its ok then hes gonna think she dumped him for me. (which she kinda did) But he would get hella mad. I have shitloads more in common now that i think about it. Like shr bikes and does alot of the same sports i do. But should i tell him if i ask her out? this dude has like 120 pounds on me and was a wrestler/ cage fighter and has anger issues... Hes only been dating her like a month and a half maybe a month I think it would be better if i told him. But if he says ok u think he means it? I shall walk though the Valley of the Dead and will fear no evil ... Because i am the most vicious bastard in that valley  | |

If he is a good enough friend that you care what he thinks about you dating his ex girl, then he is a good enough friend that you shouldnt pull a bat on him. I would never pull a bat on a good friend but mabey thats just me. Let him cool off. let the dead body cool off atleast before you be a vulture and take the scraps. Use some deplomacy and use some common sence. You know more then we do, was he broken up over her? was he close to her? does he want her back? does he even care? He took it better than i thought he would about them breaking up, Hes not really broken up now cause we are in college and he was kinda "on a leashe" sort to say. She told him that she wants him to get over her and date other people. He cares WHO she dates because they were best friends before this. Liek this dude said to him WHILE they were dating said to him if he fucks up with the Alex (the girl) hes taking a second chance. So he cares who she dates cause he wants to make sure she gets treated like she deserves. So im going to ask him if he would mind if i asked her out cause he knows im a gentleman. Now the girl is droping hints like "I can talk to you like i never could with mario" i replied with "well we do have alot in common..." she says "Yea I know we do." then like the conversation ended with like silence. it was silent for like 6 seconds. I mean when ur talking that seems like a long ass time then she says "oh i got to go do chores now see ya tomorrow." but the way she said the first part the tone of her voice was weird. I didnt pic up on it till the silence. Im not really good at picking up on shit like that or interpriting stuff and comments made towards me. So i dont really know what to consider the conversation.
