| What do u guys remember about those days, i remember the heavier the better, the stonger the better, eveyrone rode alex rims and free wheels, no cassettes or freecoasters and people who rode straight cables raced and gyros were freestyle I shall walk though the Valley of the Dead and will fear no evil ... | I'm not a 20lb bike guy, but if i can get a sweet part, and buy a specific model of it that is lighter, i say why not... if i act like everyone that fears lighter weights, I'm going to put lead pegs on my bike... I can bunny hop a 40lb bike, what now bitch! But i do get your point, but everything advances... with bikes it seems to be with weight... its OK as long as your main goal is still to have fun riding and not ride to be cool or whatever... just my rant, I'm sure most will denounce it! and i use a 13T Freewheel... and my bike is stock 30lbs, I'm not gonna go make it heavier.... ill tell you that much. - Nick | |

| Mine weighs 36 pounds, and I have no problems. On the subject of stonger, as stated before, all the hi-tech stuff does makes tubing lighter, but still as strong if not stronger that before. If u stop riding, u will die. | |

| It's not really new. 1998 GT Tour. When I first got it I thought it was a tank, but now it feels just right. I don't know how to ride a modern bike yet. LOL If u stop riding, u will die. | |

| I got a DK 8 Pack, havent changed anything on it apart from a new crank (knackerd other one) so i have no idea what it weighs, its a heavy bike, im only 14 so i sometimes struggle to get the height i wanted, i manage it most ot the time tho. | |
