| you cant generalize like that. theres an awful lot of very musicly inclined punk musicians. punk is about the message, not the sound. thats what sub-catagories of punk are for. list some examples of the "punk" you dont like. i bet i could find plenty that you would like power abused; authority misused, they kill and they rape and it wont be on the news but your the good one, with the badge and a gun; bragging about how you blasted gunshot fourty-one | |

What message does modern punk have that hasn't already been described more eloquently in past generations of punk rock? Bad Religion is one of my favorite bands... but.. other than that and maybe the misfits... (and that's not really like.. punk...) I just think it's a trend.
