Hi, I want to ride street and learn some flatland tricks im a day 1 noob and dont have a lot of money. I read bad things about the diamondbacks and mongoose so im stayin out of dicks sporting goods for my new bike but the only bike shop in my area sells Trek bikes. So im askin if the Trek tr20 is ok for a beginer like me who wants to get into street and some flatland.

if i were you i would go to www.danscomp.com and look at dk bikes easterns or fits, they are all pretty cheap and good and light

theres accually quite a few places u could go to find a bike.. you just have to look around and pick the one that would fit u the best.. i ride street and i havn't been doing it long.. im going to get a haro backtrail X1

my first bmx bike was a Trek20 about ten years ago they are ok for a beginner. Kinda heavy but they are affordable go to flatlandfuel.com they have some affordable bikes made by KHE that are a great deal for the money

Right now there is a GOOD sale on danscomp it's a 2008 Kink bikes sale. Lowest priced bike starts at $169. GREAT deals. 4 different bikes to choose from that are under $300. http://www.danscomp.com/products.php?cat=BIKES&show=Kink ; I'm pretty sure they will all hold up for a while. Great to learn on. You said you were low on cash. These are pretty good bikes for a LOW price so check em out while the sales running.
