It's this week.  Who's going to win this year?  For that matter, do people still care that much? 

who will probably win:

Vert:  Bestwick
Park: Mirra
Dirt: Nyquist or Guenther
Vert Best Trick:  McElhinney (front flip flair) or something crazy Bestwick's been planning 
Big Air:  Kagy

it would be cool if they won

Vert: Robinson (w/ the double flair) or DMC

Just saw this:  Dave Mirra, the most decorated athlete in X Games history, lacerated his liver during practice Wednesday afternoon at the Home Depot Center in Dominguez Hills, Calif., and will miss his first X Games competition.

Mirra landed awkwardly off a jump and was taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, where it was determined he had a Grade 2 (with Grade 5 the worst) laceration.

Mirra, who has performed in each of the 11 X Games, is resting comfortably and is in stable condition, according to the X Games Sports Medicine group.

Mirra won the bike park event last year to bring his X Games record medal count to 14 gold and 20 overall.

X Games 12 gets under way Thursday evening.

Silver: Ryan Nyquist
Bronze: Luke...Somebin. Dun remember. Get off my back.

Predictions:

BMX Vert: Jamie Bestwick
Big Air: Bestwick or Kagy
BMX Park: Nyquist or Guettler
Sk8 Vert: Shaun White or Sandro Dias
Sk8 Street: Koston or Sheckler
Sk8 Best Trick: Shaun White or Bob Burnquist.
BMX Best Trick: Kevin Robinson or Jamie Bestwick.

Still sucks that Mirra fucked up his liver.  But still, there's Ryan Guettler and Nyquist to look forward to. I'm also curious about the rally racing. Might be sik.

damn,i missed most of it,my friend told me the wrong time for the park,hopefully its on tonite again,and what the fuck is rally car doing in the xgames, im sorry for all the rally-ers,but its the worst thing xgames added,but i saw a clip of scotty cranmers park run,and it was rediculous
