trails bikes normally have longer read end and shorter tt, street has a shorter rear end and longer tt and pegs, different tires, and so on and so forth

trails/park bikes tend to be lighter, may or may not have pegs, longer wheelbase so they fly straighter, lower bottombracket height for a lower center of gravity, that helps riders to stay super stable at high speeds through berms and across flatbottom. trail guys seem to run their bars a bit wider than street doggs for the same reason. simpler designs, i.e.: no wishbones etc. many times the brakes will be on the chainstay because not many dirt guys run super tiny gearing settups. usually a knobby tire at least up front, nice and wide with a skinnier back tire, usually slightly lower tire pressure, sometimes the bars are lined up leaning a bit farther back to help slow the steering down. thats all that came to mind just now....
