i really like that bike. its got pretty much anything you could want on a bike. an integrated sealed headset, cassette hub, its only 28 pounds, (wierd, but its got a spanish BB on it. you dont usually see that on completes.) everything sealed bearings. if i had $580 i that would be the bike I would buy.

I have a backtrail x3, shure it's a newbie bike and a little heavy but it doesn't break, i swear to god I've pounded the crap out of that bike and it's still good, the 3 piece crank is awesome and realy quiet, still nothing compared to what you're thinking of.

i don't see what the draw to the heater is... the axles are 3/8 in. instead of 14 mm making it weaker and its got cheap alex rims. Although it does have a lot of cool shadow parts like the 3-pc cranks and sealed stem, I would rather get the Integral Bel-Air and go with a lot of Primo parts since I personally like them better than Shadow.
After saying that, I still think the heater is an awesome bike and if u like it, go for it!
