	how in the fuck are you supose to pray? i must be doing it wrong, or i dont deserve what im askign for or soemthing... are there any giudlines to this? how do you start how do you end? how do you know if god is listening? how do you get him to realize what your saying is important? im gonna be doing alot of praying, so i really need to know these things... 	praying should be natural. you don't need any advice just direct your thoughts outwards towards anyone or anything that may be listening. Doesn't have to be spoken. There should be no guidlines. weather there is a god or not, praying will work for the better. Enjoy

One could respond to that with "If you think everything came into existence on its own, even though we have found nothing in our universe that can create itself, you are fucked in the head." Don't hijack the thread into a deist/atheist argument. Everyone comes out gaining nothing in those threads except maybe some internet-enemies, lol. I don't see the problem with believing that something better awaits you after your death on earth, as long as it doesn't drive you to blow up buildings full of innocent people. Most people that believe in a god and an afterlife are pretty good people leading normal lives, and aren't "fucked in the head." But that's just from my own personal experience. People who take their religion seriously tend to be the nicest and most geniune people I meet. There are those who take it too far and try to keep their family cut off from society because they think everyone else is bad, but those tend to be the exception and not the rule as some people on these forums tend to argue.
