| Good bands always skip Indiana! (Music sucks here) I've seen Tool 3 times and each time has been AMAZING! Last two were with Meshuggah... I love them too. With a drummer like Danny Carey, APC can never amount to Tool. And the singing sounds the same, because it's the same singer! It's all good to me. I would have loved to see the Aenima tour, that's my fav. CD. | |

| They came, and it was great! He said he was still sick @ the beginning of the show.. but it didn't really show. One of the highlights of the evening was maynard, replacing the lyrics "learn to swim" with, "got to piss" a song or two before they played Ænema, he had stated that they only had time to play 1/2 of a song, cause he really had to piss, lol. The stage setup was pretty sweet. A solid white floor, with a solid white wall in teh bg, only about 8-10 feet tall I'm guessing, and videos were prodected onto the floor and wall. My only complaints were out seats lol.. and the vocals sounded a little muffled.. but I think that may have just been bc american airlines isn't great for shows? And I was very suprised to see the floor was covered in chairs. No real Pit :o Enjoy | |

| Oh my freaking god. I Just got back from the Tool concert. I was on the floor for Lateralus and Ænema. I have never experienced anything like it at all. At one point there was an intermission, and people just held up all their lighters. Of all the shows ive never seen so many lighters in my entire life. And then I was ushered off to work in the 200 sections right in line with the stage and maybe 70 feet from it so I had a pretty decent view of the entire show. The lights were the best though. They had some setup with mirrors on the stage and random lazers going on everywhere along with the smoke and mirrors. There was also a screen behind Maynard which projected some psychedelic stuff and it was completely packed and insane and apparantly it rained for a while but I didnt notice. Then after they were done they threw a drumstick which hit the ground in front of me and I almost got to it but some guy leapt over the barrcade and got it. I figured he wanted it more than I did since he seemed pretty bashed up afterwards. Tool rocks my socks :-D and they had a pit. no chairs to be seen at all. No moshing or crowd surfing, and zero cameras. Lots of weed and shrooms and all that other stuff. | |
