| Those games aren't that popular here. Americans in general consume sports, racing, or killing games. We don't get a lot of games from Japan, but we don't really miss that much anyway. Japanese games tend to be overly quirky and the ones that aren't, really aren't that good and don't make it here anyway. Really though Americans don't take to beat games, I like them alot, but on a whole most of the video game public is to embarrased to play such games. Really though can you blame them, the first time I plyed DDR I was nervous as hell, once you get over the initial bump you realize how fun the games are. I go to a little arcade that is filled with beat games and fighting games, all types from Japan, stuff like Guilty Gear XX and they had this guitar game that was absolutley sick, had like 15 buttons, it rocked hard, except for the crappy Jap rock that you had to play. They also had this drum game that was great, it was like BongoDrumo or some crap like that. If you guys do arcades, I highly suggest either of these games, for a test spin. | |
