^^ While those are all Old Testament texts, I agree that the Bible should never be taken literally. But taking things into context is a big difference.

I think Muslims believe in men having more power and control over women and children that's exactly what I was thinking. Enjoy

^^ So you're saying that most Christians would be okay with this situation? That's what I thought. ![]() Frequent punishments are always a sign of weakness or laziness on the part of a government. -Jean Jacques Rousseau

At the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that ALL religions are dangerous, as well as ALL people who follow them. Period.

At the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that ALL religions are dangerous, as well as ALL people who follow them. Period. Who's burning down KFC's? I never heard that one. I think I mentioned the abortion example already though. Whenever some so-called Christian tries to kill or hurt an abortion clinic worker, all the other Christians immediately go crazy making sure everybody knows that this isn't the way to protest. In the Middle East, I never hear any outcry from the people about how they wish they would stop getting a bad name from situations like this one. I think they should try the judge for murder. ![]() Frequent punishments are always a sign of weakness or laziness on the part of a government. -Jean Jacques Rousseau
