Good time was had by all. Weather was good, spot was good, it was cool to be in NY riding, it was good to see everyone again, I'm starting to feel comfortable on my new FBM frame, I was riding okay ....my only regret is that Brett beat me in the double decade challenge.... : ) -A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man. -Jebediah Springfield

I came down from Puerto Rico for this event so was of course filled with anticipation. I went to bed super late and still managed to awaken super early. I initially didn't greet everyone when I arrived because I was a little out of it and low on carbs, but eventually after soaking up some of the vibe went to get something to eat with NYC local Waldo and had such a great time after that. The whether was actually good, rebbulls served their purpose, and between pushing myself to ride 2 maybe 3 times more than I usually do and getting to the afterparty it finished me off on just a good of a note.

I ended up riding with Mark Harris at union square until about 4am, and had to wake up at 10:30am for work, and managed to sit on my ass and do nothing all day at work, and I can barely move I'm so sore. Thanks everyone for coming and supporting flatland! All you guys are awesome, and I wish we could get together and ride more often. Also, thanks to those who attended the after party, I hope you guys enjoyed the Simon DVD! www.functionbmx.com www.recycleabicycle.org www.sickchildbikes.com Dont hate the player, hate the game. The jam was just awesome, I got to meet some new people this year and catch up with some riders who I havn't seen in a while. I also rode the new Function frame that was there and it's a very well designed and balanced frame. I was able to do all my tricks on it 1st try so it was very easy to adjust too. Thanks to Joe for throwing the jam and the after party, I had a great time in the city and hope to do it again next year.

Joe, We should definately get together before next year man. We can always just have a mini jam sometime, maybe at night on a weekend or something. NYC has a good vibe, Im down for riding anytime. Now go get some sleep you lazy good for nothin' bike mechanic. Jared, you are a backwheel master! The revised function (no name yet) frame came in the day of the jam, I think Paul is keeping this one. ~Chad www.functionbmx.com

I had a fun time even though it took me 200 tries to do a double decade. Thanks Joe and all who supported the jam. fun stuff for sure. There's no excuse for being a dickhead.

^^That sounds like a good idea to me..id be in for that^^ Even tho i didnt ride that much i still had a great time...That was the first jam i made it too since i got back into riding a couple of years ago. Let me tell ya, seein all u guys and meeting some of u was super inspiring...i havent had that much fun since the last jam i was at back in the late 80s. Its great to see, that away from the message boards, the vibe is still a positive one...its also inspired me to get back to my idea of starting my own t-shirt company again...ive been toying with the idea for a while..as Joe knows...lol...but i havent been happy with any designs ive come up with or any names for the company...after that jam....i have both now...so expect to see some stuff in the future....and i will gladly have free stuff for next years jam...thanks Joe!...and thanks everyone for keepin the flat vibe positive and goin strong
