Justfine-  You don't really know what you are talking about.  I have watched Dave grow up and progress.  Everything he has done comes from talent and hard work.  Haro never paid gymnasts to teach anyone anything.  Nyquist learned 3-flips and 720's from another rider.  Dave learned flips on his own. 

No matter what haro paid Dave, they were still making more money than he earned.  So why wouldn't Dave start his own company?  Dave also wants to make good bikes at all price ranges. What's wrong with that?  Also, whn you have been riding as long and as hard as Dave, you get to a point where it feels silly to rely on others and want to do something for yourself.

S&M and Standard are good but they aren't the only bikes being ridden.  Maybe where you live.  Go to different parts of the country and you will see the popularity of bikes change with the region.

As far as Hoffman, Miron and Mirra, they are all great riders and have deservedly big egos.  The 3 of them together couldn't last too long.
