| Ugh... Who woulda thought it would be this tricky to learn steamrollers after learning the 180 part of firehydrants so quick... (Finally got firehydrants dialed, yes! :D )
My problem is I cant flick the frame around and keep moving... I can step into the trick and roll them pretty well but I cant swing the bike around. I practiced for a pretty long time now but still not much success... Do you guys have any tips on getting the back to swing around? I can get it a little but it wont go all the way (and yes, I do push it hard enough... :( ). There have beena few times I have been able to get it all the way 'round but that was moving at 1 mph and I stopped dead in my tracks... :x Thanks guys

| i dont really kick the frame...i find that if i do i spin on the tire like a fire hydrant kinda and dont go in a straight line....
i pull my left foot back on the peg to get the rear end up then lean the bars forward and to the right a tad to let the frames momentum carry it, then when the seat gets near your hand lean back and grab it... mostly just practice alot and you'll get it...

| Let me get this straight, you mean to hydrant, grab seat, then turbine forwards? This is a pretty advanced trick. This is good to practice on the side, but i would recommend dialing forwards halflash to steam first. this was one of the first tricks i learned and it was one of the funnest tricks i ever leaned. As soon as i learned it i then learned it 2 footed and had a lot of fun dialing that. It felt like i was floating. And then i learned hikers. From the time i first learned steams to doing hikers was about a month. (about 3 months after i started riding) But the firsat month or two was alll hop hops and manuals. This was the summer of 2000. | |

| I kinda see what you mean. Besides shifting my weight forward over the bars, I should also use my foot to pull the front peg backwards will help get the back up?
I'm going over my friends house later so I'll mess aound with it up there. Thanks guys :)

| Just kinda turn the bars a little before you kick with your foot and leaning forwards really is the key. Practice and it will come. No pain No gain -Kyle G | |
